About the Event
Students for Sensible Drug Policy, Tāmaki Makaurau are pleased to present Nurse Trish and Chlöe Swarbrick, for a night of drug policy and narcofeminism. Trish will be providing insight into the narcofeminist sphere, which combines narcotic harm reduction with intersectional feminism; after which Chlöe, will take the head with an interactive panel: 'In the Weeds: How We Change Stupid Drug Policy.' We hope to see you there! (Please keep in mind that the location for the event is not finalised, and will be updated on this webpage following due correspondence from the University.)
About the Speakers: Chlöe is the Co-Leader of the Green Party, and your local Member of Parliament for Auckland Central. She is also the Party’s spokesperson for Climate Change, Finance and Revenue. She is a member of the Finance and Expenditure Select Committee and co-founder and former Chair of the Cross-Party Group on Mental Health and Addiction.
